Antarctic Blast About to Hit New Zealand / myLot

New Zealand is about to experience its coldest weather all winter, as we've been told of an approaching blast coming up from Antarctica. NZ is one of the closest countries to this most southern part of the world, only 5000 km away. This wintry blast is not unusual at this time of the year. As winter comes to an end and nature starts preparing for Spring, such bad weather often hits. But it's never pleasant. The South Island are preparing for extreme snow conditions, but fortunately where I live in the North Island will probably not experience snow. It will, however, be very cold over the next few days definitely be indoor weather.

@valmnz It is pretty cold here for the season, only 15 Celsius in the morning. As I do not like hot weather I do not complain, but it's not normal.

@valmnz I’d love a blast of weather from somewhere cold just now. Just for a day or two of course. We have too much heat here. My brother who lives in Paris is just recovering from a 42c blast of hot air from the Sahara and he is not happy. Stay wrapped up.
