Please, Please Respond, The Wife's Gone Shopping

She's got the credit cards and the debit cards. She has left the house and she's gone shopping. I am doomed. All of my savings efforts could be destroyed in a matter of hours. All of my attempts to fill the coffers with money could be wiped out.
Please, please respond to my post so I can at least slow down the damage. If luck has it, I might be able to recoup my losses at a rate faster than my wife shops.
Hmmm, wondering if I could start a GoFundMe page? Do you think people would sympathize with my woe and start sending me money?

@infatuatedbby She got some shirts and some shoes. The damage wasn't awful. About $60. I can live with that.

I once thought about freezing the cards in a bowl of water. "You want to use them, you have to wait for them to thaw." MAYBE by the time they actually thawed she'd be bored with idea of shopping. Of course...then she might just still go out with...some...cold hard cash...
Gosh, that was lame. But you knew it was coming all along, didn't you?

If I were your wife, a trip to Walmart or a grocery store should not cause you any alarm. But if Steinmart or Dillards is on the trip list, you might have a moment's concern. Hope this contributes a couple of pennies.

Well, luckily she's a huge fan of the thrift stores and that's where she typically goes. There are several in our area. That being said, one can still spend quite a bit of money even at a thrift store. A dollar here and three dollar there still adds up.

@1creekgirl Excellent. Mission accomplished. Actually now that I think of it, as I think of my wife out there shopping, "I'm caught in a trap. I'm all shook up." If she comes home empty handed I might just sing "Hallelujah."
