A Sad Day....

Today we lost my great uncle, the son of my great-grandmother (who I talk about visiting every other Sunday).
His health had gone pretty downhill, they didn't think he would make it very much longer. I logged onto Facebook morning to see a post from his son saying "RIP Dad".
I wasn't very close to my great uncle, I only saw him a few times a year, and more recently not even that much. But....I am glad that he is no longer suffering.
I don't think they have any plans for services till next week, when his son can come back into the state.

I'm sorry your Great Grandma lost her son, she is obviously very saddened by this.

Thank you, it is....I am sorry as well. I am more worried about my great-grandmother and how she is handling it.

Thank you....and I definitely agree. I don't know how much he was suffering, but I do know his health had really declined.

I am as well, thank you....and I don't know yet how she is doing....but I can't imagine too well since she doesn't want to keep hanging in there herself.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I just hope my great-grandma will be okay....they would talk on the phone almost every day.
