I was reading a post earlier written by @Juliaacv. She was asking what our favorite fruit bread was. Mine is banana nut bread. I have an easy recipe that works every time. This is an old recipe from my Grandmother. She had it featured in her church's cookbook: 1 cup sugar 1 cup butter 2 cups flour 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) 2 eggs, beaten 3-4 ripe bananas Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Cream bananas until fluffy. Add to creamed mixture alternately with flour. Add nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. Photo is mine. Fresh out of the oven. Do you enjoy banana nut bread?
