A not so good thing..... broke a glass bottle by mistake

I do not know why it happened. I am usually careful when walking around in kitchen. More so with Ceramics and glass stuff. Personally, I prefer using steel utensils, as breaking up of glass or ceramics can cause injury.
I broke a glass bottle by mistake. The drinking water stored in it too got wasted.
I am not feeling good.
Moreover, my wife was also fond of this bottle and I know that I would now be immensely pressurized to buy a new one.
Well not everything can be always good.... !!

We have some festivities coming up and I would he under "immense pressure" for denting my money reserves a lot more during those times too!

@JudyEv yes mandatory repairs can't be avoided.
We got a few of our bath fixtures repaired recently.

It does happen to all of us. When it happens it's just an accident, so I'd just talk about it and if needed get a new one if price is reasonable. I always turn it into something good and say, something wonderful is going to happen when things happen. (Then suddenly something good does happen!)

I hope you didn't get hurt. Even when we are careful those things happen sometimes, but it is still sad to lose things that way. Last time we lost a glass I had placed it on the table too close to the edge and our dog hit it with his tail.

Accidently breaking a glass over one's lifetime is a pretty common thing. I've broken a few over the years and I'm sure a favorite or two. Sorry to hear that, guess you will have to buy your wife a "new favorite."

I am ok. I cleaned up the place as well. Not many fragments had broken and the bottle broke up mainly from the top. But it was a nice bottle and not so economical !!
