Weather Forecast is Gloomy

The weather forecast for Louisiana and southern Mississippi doesn't look very good for the next 7 days or so. We have a lot of rain and thunderstorms promised.
This doesn't sit will low areas that are prone to flash flooding. I'm glad I don't have to be out in the weather or drive in it every day as in having to go to work. In checking my calendar, we have three doctor appointments next week and that are on different days. I'm hoping that we will luck out of those days and not be in heavy storms.
Here are the rain percentages expected for the next few days:
Friday, 22nd: 50%
Saturday, 23rd: 40%
Sunday, 24th: 50%
Monday, 25th: 50%
Tuesday, 26th: 40%
Wednesday, 27th: 40%
I expect these numbers to go higher as we get closer to the exact days.

We've been getting gully-washers almost every night or early morning; but then the days have been sunny.

@LindaOHio I'm thinking Branson, MO. There are always openings there. My choice would be North Carolina, but I think that drive may be a bit too much for my mother.

In our community right out of Baton Rouge, they keep building new subdivsions, condos, townhouses, apartments, etc. There is too much added to the system that was already overwhelmed. Not hard to understand. Just halt more building permits. Oh, but the mighty dollar speaks.

@crazyhorseladycx It is very disgusting. This used to be a country-like community and now it is a bustling small city.

@kareng i jest dunno how these folks're 'llowed to do such? buildin' more homes jest leads to more losses 'n costs continue to escalate (insurance). perhaps the loss 'f life 'n homes jest can't trump that almighty dollar. disgustin' :(

I'm sorry you're in for stormy weather over the next seven days. My weather looks good with only a slight chance of sprinkles today and then some showers on Monday, but even that is low.
We're now getting to the point where it would be good to get some rain. Not a lot, but a couple of inches over the next couple of weeks would be sufficient.

So, rush out and buy all the umbrellas in town. Change the price tags (increase them by a dollar) resell them!!!!

Our forecasters here in Florida don't even bother trying to be accurate in their predictions. They just say the same thing everyday: hot, humid, and 50% chance of rain.
A weather forecaster is the only job I know where you can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep your job.

Too many rainy days in a row can be a real downer. We are having rain today also. Here is a sun song for you. Maybe it will change those percentages, lol.
