A Rainy/Chilly Day... Wish We Were In Florida...

I'm starting to wonder if fall has decided to arrive as of this morning. I'm sitting here in socks, jeans, a blouse AND a sweater. It's noon here as I type this post and it really shouldn't be this cold. Guess I had better get used to it. And then I remembered Dorian...I guess I could be thinking about the hurricane and all the people who might be affected by the hurricane...
Anyone else living near the coast?? Fingers crossed that the storm blows itself out before it hits. It can certainly cause quite the mess. We have already been through it once with Charlie a few years ago!! We had a huge tree fall into our pool, taking the pool cage with it. And then we have this dent in our garage door which makes me wonder what on earth flew into it.
Fall should be nice and warm and peaceful~~~

It's been cold and rainy all day. Later in the week, 4 degrees C... this is way too early!!

It seems that Autumn has arrived in the UK, too. Top temperatures this week are going to be 19C to the low 20's and night-time temperatures could be single figures, depending on the cloud cover. The sun is still warm, however.
i think that Florida is one place I'd rather not be at the moment. It's looking pretty rough there for the next day or so with Hurricane Dorian not far off the coast (though it looks as though it won't make landfall until it's further north). I am sorry for everyone in the Bahamas, though. The next 36 hours are looking very grim!

It is 20 C and sunny at the moment. The sun felt warm. I can't complain at all but I know that the rain is coming maybe later tonight. It will be an umbrella day tomorrow.

We received a ton of it over night. It actually woke me up!! Another day of not having to water the plants lol... guess that's a perk. Still waiting on news of our other house though!

ya could come here to new mexico :) bright 'n sunny, shorts'd be 'ppropriate. we'd a storm last eve that's mr. rocky still a tad spooky. seems the folks down the road 'll still not contain their garbage. he'd 3 dirty diapers, numerous aluminum food pans 'n a big red mineral bucket out'n his corral. poor fella :(
we're 'pposed to've a cooler'n norm september, then warmer 'n norm october 'n november. i'm jest hopin' we get some more moisture.

@Hate2Iron lots 'f folks 've complained 'f summers heat. i prefer 't o'er the chill 'f autumn, the winds 'n 't times bitter cold 'f winter. mostly though 'tis prolly jest the less hours 'f daylight that gets me most.
socks?? i wear 'em daily 's boots're a necessity when out with horses :) when not out with 'em though, i'm barefoot'n switched to my shorts, lol.

we are being warned over and over again about Dorian but I think it will just blow over where we are. I am not having Dorian over for tea that is for sure.
