I Told You So... I Wish They Would Just Stop!!

I was just checking updates a few minutes ago. Luckily, there is nothing new to announce at the moment, but that doesn't mean that people should jump in with their own updates and say... I Told You So! One woman is doing just that. She "knew" that the media was hyping the storm and that Dorian wouldn't amount to anything!! She should count herself lucky instead of telling people not to pay attention to the warnings and forecasts. We are miles away and last night we had this Severe thunderstorm that we weren't expecting with wind gust at 90 k an hour. My point being... don't take chances. Bad weather can suddenly appear when you least expect it. At least the people in Florida had a warning. If the storm doesn't amount to what is expected, consider yourself lucky and keep fingers crossed for the people who are still in the path. From what I can see... the storm is still moving north and could reach Newfoundland way up here in Canada. I know a lady who now lives there who used to be a neighbor of mine and I'm pretty sure that she's watching closely!!
Damaging winds and torrential downpours will be the primary threats in Atlantic Canada

When they say there are warnings you have to listen to them. You are right bad weather can just appear. I hope it did not make it there and she was safe.

Some people really take the cake. It seems to me that hurricanes are quite unpredictable and can change course in a matter of hours.

lots 'f damage can be done jest from storm surges, winds 'n heavy rains - tornadoes can sprout due to the unstable atmosphere. i hope all're payin' mind to this hurricane. jest look 't houston, tx - far 'way from the coast, but massive damage to there'n the surroundin' areas to to heavy rainfall.

I always believe you should be cautious especially when it comes to weather and a potentially devastating storm. People who don't heed the warnings are the ones who put the lives of those who have to rescue them in jeopardy.

Good morning.Your right on this.you have to prepared your self with something like this happens.
Things can change so fast in the prediction.
when they say move and get out of there.You should just do that.They are doing their best keeping you updated.
