I will soon go for tea. Meanwhile, I have finished packing my suitcase.

I finished fixing my suitcase with Leticia, made another last minute list for the supermarket and I got ready to go to Claudia´s house.
I don´t know why there are always last minute things in all I do. I have to go to the Bank (I left it for tomorrow) because I could not find the long sheets of written paper that mean that I´m insured during my vacation. And as my Bank executive sold it to me, I´ll tell him to find it.
One thing with another, I will also need some more meds. Not the most important ones, but I´ll check what to take in case of head ache or stomach ache. I´m sure that if I take them, I will not need them.
Everyone makes fun of me because I fill my suitcase so early before a trip. But the few times that I have done that in the last minute, I have regretted it. I either pack too many things or I pack too little.
How many days in advance before a trip do you pack your bags?

This packing includes finding clothes I put away last summer and washing them.

I like to wash my clothes again before placing them in my suitcase even if I put them away clean the last season. So I have to wash them and dry them. I don´t have a dryer machina. I gave it away a long time ago.

@LadyDuck I really don´t need one now that I´m alone. I gave mine to my eldest daughter.

It is like those grocery lists
I always have to start a new list on returning from the supermarket.

@marguicha We do too. There is always a part list on the counter and we add to it as we go through the days. But we always have to start a new one as soon as we get home from shopping.

You will have a wonderful vacation and if you forget something, maybe you can buy one(such as a sweater or a toothbrush). Where you are traveling, it will be nice and warm, I'm sure. I'm a last minute packer, when it comes to going on a trip.

I do that if I´m going nearby. But I needed to check on my summer clothes as I have had several months of winter.

@kobesbuddy Most of the times it is nice. But when a big hurricane is up north, the wonderful trade winds will be taken away from Aruba.

@marguicha Yes, you need to consider the temperature and weather they are having, in Aruba.

I have only met one person that never took more than she needed with her. If memory serves me right, she brought a few pair of undies, a change of clothes, and her toothbrush and toothpaste, and a hairbrush.
Me....well I overpack. You never know when you may spill something on your clothing or it will be too hot or too cold.
I start packing at least a week in advance and have a checklist of things to bring.

@marguicha I make sure that I have enough of my prescription meds to last the entire time I am away. I also pack pain meds ahead of time.

@ElusiveButterfly Me too. That is the most important thing. The rest can be bought if I need extra clothes.

I pack the night before most of the tie, although when I was going on my honeymoon, I packed an hour before I had to be at the airport--and it is usually ok

2 days before my traveling sometime last moments depending on distance that I traveled. Seeing your bag I feel that you are going on vacation. Problem with me is I love closing and opening zip until i started my journey so that I won't miss any important items

As nobody is coming to my house until I go away, the suitcase is now open in the living room, ready to welcome last minute things.
