Cooking for the birthday dinner tomorrow

Our son's birthday was yesterday, but he and his son Nathan are coming over tomorrow for a birthday dinner.
I made a chocolate pie instead of a cake, but I'll put some candles on it. Got the deviled eggs made and they're chilling in the fridge.
I'll start baking the pork ribs in the morning so they'll have about four hours to bake, then after they're done, I'll add some Carolina barbecue sauce and put them under the broiler to caramelize the sauce.
Tomorrow I'll have a pitcher of cold, sweet tea, then later I'll bake some potatoes and fry some green beans and corn bread. Not sure what kind of veggie besides the beans yet.
Anyway, we're looking forward to having the boys here. As fast as time is going by, they'll soon be older than we are.

@1creekgirl It's called Chocolate Salami. It looks a bit like salami with broken biscuits, walnuts and chocolate formed into a log.

Sure I will! I'll make it for the July Triplets. But you might be the only one close enough to NC to make it.
I know....you tell me what you want on the menu, I'll cook it up and ship it to your house. Can't promise the ribs won't be a little dry and cold, but maybe at least they won't give you food poisoning. On second thought, maybe it would be easier to just deliver the meal to you.

I sure wish you could be here to eat with us. The ribs are falling off the bone tender, I just put the sauce on them, now just have to bake the potatoes, boil the corn on the cob, and fry the corn bread and green beans. The guys should be here in about an hour.

I know he'll enjoy his dinner tonight, but on his actual birthday, he and his son were driving about eight hours home from the mountains after the hurricane.
