I had so much fun yesterday going with my sons and watching their reactions when they sat on a certain piece of furniture. Their smiles was worth a fortune. I even did some shopping for myself. Here is a picture of my youngest son and his wife trying out a love seat. I didn't get any pictures of my oldest son and his wife and now I wish I had.

They were having a blast that day. It has been awhile since I have sen those smiles on both of them at the same time. They are a cute couple and if it hadn't of been for me it might not of happened.

@DianneN Doesn't it make you feel good to help your family and like what they choose. I just bought a couch set for my oldest son and his wife. I liked what they picked out. It fits well in their living room and there is plenty of sitting for when they have guests. Now it is time I get something for me. lol

Yes I did. I ended up with a couch, 2 shelf units, a desk and chair and a captains bed. I did go a little bit high on the mattress. I have to stand on my toes to get into the bed.

@Hannihar It was my fault as I chose the mattress without thinking how high it was. Yes i got a lot. This will be the last new furniture I will ever buy. Well unless I find a nice rocking chair at a yard sale.

@velvet53 Wasn't there a bed or mattress your height so you do not have to get on your toes to get into bed? Sounds like you got a lot. Enjoy them.

They were like kids in a toy store. No, they aren't young anymore.My youngest granddaughter was on a different reclining couch.

They are fun to try them out. I found a lot of the couches were way too hard but then I found some that felt good.

It was a lot of fun. I wish we had more family affairs. Those love seats are pretty nice for a person that doesn't have room for a full size couch.

@velvet53 'tis most rare fer any family 'ffairs here. the youngest comes fer thanksgivin', the eldest's not been able to make a trip here'n 3 yrs. that 'twas not fer 'fun', but jest long 'nough fer her to come 'n fetch a truck we gave her.
