Have you seen Li Zi Qi videos?

I am getting addicted to her videos. She is a very inspiring young woman from China. She has awesome videos of her traditional Chinese life taking care of her old grandmother in the province. She is like a wonder woman who makes bamboo furniture with her soft hardworking hands. Of course, she cut the bamboos from the bamboo fields first, gathered them and brought them home to make herself a piece of furniture. She is not only good at that but also planting, harvesting and cooking her own traditional food. Watching her videos is like relaxing as the music is also soothing to the mind. You will understand me what I am talking about when you can see her one of her videos in the link that I will show you. Btw, this is the sort of life I would live if I could be. Do you think you can live on your own in the countryside like doing the life of Li Zi Qi? The photo is my hometown in the Philippines. Taken last 2017.
I have been wanting to buy a sofa set but the desired ones typically cost over 10k RMB. Last week, I found the bamboo sofa set that my grandpa made a long ti...

I am watching the video and it is so interesting. I love that beautiful place where she leaves. I am not sure I could live on my own in the countryside.

I am glad you like her video @LadyDuck. She has more videos on her you tube channel. You know, her videos reminded me of my childhood living in the Philippines where I have to collect coconut woods in the coconut fields to use them for making firewoods for cooking.

@thelme55 I grew up in a city, I missed doing those things. My mom was born in the countryside and they also had to collect water in the well, because they had no running water.

YES!! I watch her all the time and my heart gets full as I see her beautiful place. She is incredible. A very beautiful human being and well able to do everything she turns her hand to. I sometimes envy her life though I know it is wrong to envy. She is blessed in every way in life, a bounty of earths goodness in her place and her hands have a gift. And the way she loves and respects her elder.

Oh My God. We feel the same @TiarasOceanView. She is indeed blessed with everything in life. I love the place where she lives and love what she does. Those flowers and other plants around her are awesome. Her grandmother is so lucky to have a grandchild like her.

@TiarasOceanView I agree with you. I have read online that at first, she just took videos from her iPhone and when she became popular, she got someone for a part-time job as a helper to photograph her. There will be an interview of her this coming Friday. I would be watching that.

That's amazing. When we stayed with a Karen tribe for a few weeks, everything there was made from bamboo. Thanks so much for sharing the link.

@thelme55 It was in the backblocks of Thailand quite close to the Myanmar border. The Karen are the indigenous people. This is one of their houses in the village with trays of rice drying on the rooves.

I'm going to watch the video for sure. Well, not exactly like that but that's how we still live in the rural village. Though some areas are already living in modern way.

Thank you very much @Gillygirl. Bamboo is good for making furniture. When I was a child, my parents and I lived in a house made of bamboos.
