It didn't happen

I sat in the Midas fix my car shop and waited for the boom!! Here comes the bad news. Joe and his patter; his determination that all was sunshine and light jokes. I sat and leafed through old sweet photos in magazines. Do people really have the money to fix up a house like that and then don't wreck it?? Out came Joe. Any leaks? No. I bought the car in 2004. That is a few years ago. I took the car in cause I could not remember ever having its spark plugs changed. Joe had the mechanic change them; changed the oil. He noted that the windshield wipers were ratty so those were changed. The mechanic looked over the brakes, the belts. Nada. Friday the thirteenth or not, I left Midas with no bad news. I admit that the bill was not the cheapest but I also left with less car noise and reassurance that even the filters were too clean to exchange for new. I hope your Friday is going along just dandy.

@shaggin Part of it may be that there is only about 145 thousand miles on it. I don't drive and drive though since last year I am doing more day drives to the west side.

That's good, sure it's not cheap but you need a safe car especially with winter coming on. I've been lazy as usual.

@rebelann You know what is even more expensive? Me opening the car's hood and then me messing with its spark plugs. I'd end up having to get the car towed to the shop.

Just like a pretty good report all round - and now you have peace of mind to go with it.

@CarolDM It is a good day for sure. The rubber on the side windows is starting to come away a bit but the car's engine is going strong so I am not messing with another one and its payment plan.
