Yesterday, it reached 99 F (about 37 C) at work, so we kept the kids inside for the afternoon. It worked out fine. There were plenty of toys for them to play with. Today, it's only supposed to hit 95 (about 35 C), and there's nothing I HAVE to do, so I'm going to hit the pool with my book, and get as much reading and swimming done as possible. I don't know if this will be Summer's last gasp, but I'm going to take advantage of it.

Its been 99 to 108 here but today its told, only told not a fact, that it`ll be 89. We will see I am headed to work. Enjoy your day.

@andriaperry They had me put all the outside toys "in the shed" at 1 PM yesterday, when it was about 97 F. I worked slowly but steadily.

@TheHorse nothing I'd want to get in. We have a pool at my dad's , but didn't open it the past two summers. I can't take care of daddy and get in the water too. His vascular dementia has caused him to development a fear of water.

The poor pool, what wrong has it done to get hit by your book! ;-) We have pools everywhere. In the streets, in the fields, in the parks. They're pretty dirty and cold, so I won't go swimming in any of them tonight.

@TheHorse I fear that when I go out in about 15 minutes, the whole world's a pool ... At least there's no danger of forest fires or other fires. No danger of a good view either, 'cause we seem to be getting fog and rain at the same time. Charming.

That's a lovely day. I have been missing the sun for months now. We have another tropical depression here that says it will last till Sunday. However, even without the tropical depression it doesn't get too sunny here anymore. I'm sick and tired of the rain.

That sounds like 80-something. Lemme try and do the math real quick. F = 9/5 C = 32. 18 x 3 = 54. 54 + 32 = 86--yeppers, that's still pretty warm. Were you able to enjoy the day?

Are you going to get out today? I'm taking a break from swimming with Horse Jr. It's 5:45, and the water temperatures is about the same as the temperature outside. Very comfortable.

The heat is over, we still have a nice temperature of 26º C (79 F) during the day, but it dramatically drops during the night to 12º C (53 F).

We have been running the high 80s to low 90s here this week. Today has lower humidity so feels a lot more comfortable. Enjoy the pool
