Feeling Chilled

I went to see my family earlier than usual 'cause my wife told me she'd felt chilled for 5 days despite her taking medicine. She said she wanted to see a doctor to find out what caused her to feel chilled. She had to take her blood tested and while she was awaiting the results, I decided to take a few days off and went to hometown straight away.
While I was still on the way home, she texted me the result saying she is suffering from typhus and laryngitis. The doctor said she could be treated as an outpatient and he suggested taking more rest.
I hope my being at home could help tackle her chores.

What you did is the best thing a husband can do to his wife... to be with her whe she needed him most.

Chill is usually a symptom of an infection. And laryngitis is an infected larynx.
