Tornado!!

I was online, and we had weather move through. Knocked out the internet briefly. I was back online and the rains came.
A nearby weather station put up a tornado warning, saying no tornado sighted but rotation in the storm.
Needless to say, I got off the computer.
As we lay down the local sirens went off. . . then stopped.
It is early morning and all is now calm.
Things just keep on interfering with my computer and myLot time. Good morning to all of my friends.

I have been "near" them all my life. I do not worry too much about them. I am bothered by earthquakes, though as you cannot predict them.

@rebelann I could have sworn I was threatened by one when driving through from Oklahoma to California in 1974 or 75. I will have to check the map. note--map checked, we were eight hours away, we were in Shamrock, Tx. Took shelter in a diner. Lightning struck and made the clock run backwards and the red sandy dirt surely did fly. So no, not near El Paso.

I don't like those either @GardenGerty I'm grateful dad chose El Paso to retire in, we moved here in 1959 and I've never heard of a tornado anywhere near here.

@GardenGerty Sometimes we do a happy rain dance when it comes and we need it. Sometimes people get a little tired of getting stuck inside.

There seems to be tornadoes and storms there at the time of the year.You have to be here on Mylot,on and off.

Some mornings we get a lot of fog. They have been predicting rain for over two weeks and this is the first it has happened.

@GardenGerty It rained a bit early this morning and they are predicting rain for Tuesday and Wednesday. No luck for us, we must go to see my ophthalmologist 30 from here on Tuesday.

Actually Spring is supposed to be bad, more storms. I try to think of it as "interesting weather".
