I used to be an introvert that sometimes the habit springs up. During a gathering there are times that I go to the rest room and come back to the party after 10 minutes.

I am lucky if someone stays in my room and talks to me. Its pretty bad when you look forward to the cleaning lady from home health and your doctors to come around

wait till you get old and unable to even take care of a pet. you will see.

No. I am alone for hours on most days of the week. This is one of the big reasons why hubby and I probably will move in a few years. Both of us need more human interaction- he gets some from working but when he retires, our present location will be all about working the place or cleaning house. Not a good way to go for another who knows how many years??

I get anxious around a lot of people. I can also totally relate to your desire not to have to deal with negative personalities. I think even the most people friendly among us need a break from people once in a while, for health and sanity sake

I think Outside is too peopley, especially if there is no one that agrees with your passion. So it is always better to isolate yourself than to mingle with people who does not share the same vision as you.

This is how I feel every time I go to London! Since it isn't that far from me, and people come from all over the world to visit the city, I sometimes think I should go more often and see the sights, visit the wonderful museums etc. But when I do, within a few minutes of negotiating the packed pavements and the crowded tube trains, I usually just want to go home again!
