I'm doing my laundry! What are you up to today?

I'd like to write a post that is deeply intellectual, and challenges all MyLotters. But, alas, I am having one of those mundane days where I just get stuff done.
I updated me Resume/VITA this morning, as I'm thinking of getting back into research. There was a sad moment: one of my most "powerful" references, Dr. Daphne Bugental, died earlier this year. She was my graduate advisor at UCSB. It would fill me with sadness to "delete" her from my "References" section. But I suppose I must. She was a wonderful person and a major influence in my life.
I just put my laundry in. I sprayed all collars with Dollar Tree Miracle Cleaner. It really works. Now, I may head to Stevie Coyle's elite guitar store and ask how much he'd sell my friend's Collings D-1 guitar for. My friend has decided to "thin the herd."
Enough from me. What are you up to on this sunny Wednesday? Tomorrow, I work with the littlies.

Don't make a deeply intellectual post for I may not understand.

@Alexandoy I have been pretending to be smart for many years. It gets tiresome.

You should keep a copy of the old resume with your advisor's information. If for nothing else, for sentimental reasons.

@wolfgirl569 I Just got the sheets back on my bed. Is that worth writing about? I also have SIX pairs of undies to choose from. That means I'm good for about three months.

@thehorse Laundry can be quite a philosophically challenging topic - am I removing dirt from my shirt or my shirt from the dirt? Do I sub-consciously see washing clothes as representative of washing all harmful influences from my life? It's a minefield out there. I'd just leave the laundry for another day.

I tend to do that. I like to wear the same t-shirt or the same shorts for days on end. Everything I've eaten, sweated out, and otherwise secreted, becomes a part of who I am. If I am accepted, in spite of (or because of) my aromatic statement, then I know that I am truly loved. Thank you for making my laundry day more interesting.

My mom was nice enough to do my laundry for me since I have been busy working on my webcomic and online. That is always my day to day.

@DesirousDreamer But stories need tension and resolution. What kinds of "tensions" do you "build up"?

@TheHorse This week my characters are going to their homecoming dance! In general my webcomic is the lives of the characters of the graphic novel I am making. Just teenagers doing teenagery things. It is so wholesome.

@celticeagle You mean you're watching the Dodgers and the Nationals? It's 3-3 right now. I might tune in as well.

@TheHorse — Game 5 for the NL side. As I type the Cardinals are up 11-0, and the Dodgers play the Gnats, er, the Nats later.

@samysotelo18 I want to be like a parent, and eat everything they don't eat, but I can't really do that.
