We are having thunderous, stormy fall weather. I love it, but it gives me headaches. I woke up early with one that stayed all day yesterday.
I went to bed right after 8 pm last night. I could not stay awake to come here, even. That is why I chose to be here first this morning.
Hubby and I will go do some shopping this evening, so I may not be here then, either.
I have had a breakfast and now it is time to dress and leave. I have brought in my plants, and taken cuttings from herbs. Harvested some herbs to dry as well.
It will be very cold tomorrow. I have to get the other stuff harvested soon.

I finally bought the type of sinus medicine that fixes my headaches. The cool, brisk weather energizes me. I love not sweating so very much.

@GardenGerty It was a chilly 39 this morning when I left to do laundry and windy making it feel colder. All the snow is north of us.

For the last two days I have been very busy. My children each had a school trip and my son had two appointments. Your weather sounds like it has been really awful. I hope that you don't get anymore headaches. Have a lovely time with My Lot at the weekend hopefully.

@GardenGerty Yes, when the weather is rainy and cold I keep my children busy. They look forward to a few days out with me in the October half term. My son has 2 weeks off and my daughter has 1 week off.

I've brought in most of my plants but still have a couple planters out. I guess I should bring them in today as I noticed some of the trees are starting to change color.

I did better than I usually do. I am having to keep them locked up from the visiting kitties though. They want to dig in them, lay in them and chew on them. Not sure they should chew them all.

I would not know which mushrooms to pick. I am less afraid of snakes than I am of bugs, especially spiders. I keep walking into sticky webs.

@GardenGerty The small snakes that hide under the leaves where there are the good mushrooms are venomous here and they are exactly the same color of the ground and the leaves. I am scared of them.

I cook with them, or make teas of various types. I infuse them into oils or vinegars as well. Some of them are good for healing.

I plan to take cutting from the Basil, I think the drought killed the Sage.
