How I spent Columbus Day weekend 2019

Saturday I took my son to the park and my daughter spent many hours hanging out in town with a new male friend of hers.
I watched a movie with Katie Holmes in it called “The romantics“. I didn’t care for it.
I started watching the first season of “Hannibal”. It took a few episodes for me to get into it.
Sunday my boyfriends son went to his grandparents house so I went out to spend some time alone with my boyfriend. Netflix wouldn’t work so we watched a movie on Hulu called “The Clovehitch killer”
Today I finished the first season of Hannibal and am a few episodes into the second season. I am addicted to this show!
I did a lot of cleaning because my daughters male friend was supposed to come over but then he wound up having to help his stepdad with something and couldn’t come. I was bummed for my daughter but I got a clean house out of it. I might not have been motivated otherwise.
I took my son to the park before dinner and as usual no kids were around.
I tried a new recipe today and it was so delicious! It was Strawberry coffee cake muffins.

Strawberry Coffee Cake Muffins sound delicious! I am the same way with motivation. Nothing motivates me more than hearing "company is coming."

@ScribbledAdNauseum the muffins were delicious! They were good warm and cold which is unusual for most foods. I definitely want to make them again!
My house is clean and tidy but when I know someone is coming I get a bit frantic.

@shaggin Mine is "Well, I tried." It's a hoarder house, but I try to keep the kitchen and bathroom clean.

@TiarasOceanView I'm addicted to this show. I don't know how many seasons there are but hopefully I get time to finish them all before my monthly subscription runs out.

When I saw your comment the other day I didn't know who Mads was that you were talking about. I just saw on Amazon prime under the episodes a list of the casts names and realize now you mean Hannibal. He's probably my least favorite actor.

My weekend was ok. I spend alot of money at Petsmart getting cat food and litter. I also got some Christmas shopping done. I got a planner for me and my uncle. I have been watching The Good Place on Netflix. Yesterday I fully cleaned out the litter boxes. And today I wheeled out the trash and got the mail. Those muffins sound good.
