Do you have Subway sandwiches where you live?

I admit that I have a weak spot for Subway sandwiches, even if their spokesperson turned out to be something of a prevert. My default is ham and Swiss, with honey mustard and all of the veggies. It's probably good for me, as I don't eat a lot of raw veggies. I go there about once a week. Do you have Subway where you live? Do you indulge once in awhile?

We do have subways here in the UK but I have never had one. We rarely buy food outside the home that we have not prepared ourselves.

Sounds sensible. I really do like Subway sandwiches, though. I buy a foot long for about $7 and get two meals out of it.

Yes about 5 miles from my home, and 2 blocks from the old home place. I like the all veggie and the sweet onion chicken teriyaki, I think that is what you call it.

I'm amazed by how good their broccoli cheese soup is as well.

I have no idea, may be they exist in some parts of Switzerland, have never seen them in our region. We have excellent panini, stuffed focacce and other great, great sandwiches.

What do you have on it? I always ask for extra light green peppers, even if it leads to "ring of fire."

@LindaOHio I don't as mush as I used to. But I still "order out" fairly often.

Any particular reason? I really like them! I've made it from California to Montana on Subway and Arby's alone.

@marguicha Thanks for the info! I wonder if you'd like them. They have less meat and more veggies than most deli sandwiches.

Subway, Penn Station, Jimmy John’s (freakishly heavy on the calories), and even a Jersey Mike’s. Subway is a good standby when I’m traveling. It’s actually pretty cool to get a sub then go to some scenic place and enjoy it for lunch.

Once in a while I used to get the meatball sub, but now that my husband has to eat gluten free, I seldom eat there. I could, but it seems mean to eat a sub in front of him!

@TheHorse That would be corn shell tacos at Taco Bell or fried chicken at BoJangles with the crispy skin pulled off. We didn't eat a lot of junk food, but we definitely eat healthier now.

Subway sandwiches aren't that big. What distinguishes them is their emphasis on veggies over meat.

@TheHorse I have seen a place that has subs but have not had one so do not know if they are good or not. I look at it I can do a sub at home and it would be cheaper for me. I have to watch what I spend money on.

We do and it's at Kamehameha or Kam for short, shopping center. I was wondering about their sliders. I know that prices are different in different places, but I'd like to get a general idea. I hate peering into the shop just to see prices. Online there is just the sandwiches and other items they got on sale and at twitter, they said to try and order online to get prices. So may I ask you what are the prices of sliders at your CA home be?

A slider, to me, is what I do in the morning while reading stereo magazines. I'm glad that I am "regular." A Subway sandwich costs about $6.50. Its enough to last a whole day.
