My Last Weigh-In

I forgot to let you all know about my last weigh in when I went to the doctor last Friday.
I had good news when I stepped on the scale. I lost another 3 pounds in the week since my earlier doctor's appointment the prior week. I really didn't think I had lost any weight, so this was a nice surprise.
I think I can kick it in gear now and get a bit more serious about losing this weight. I feels much better now and feel like doing more. I was getting into a rut.
My new rheumatologist insisted that I get back on my medication for arthritis. She said for the amount of degeneration I have to my bones I need to be taking my medicine every single day. I explained to her that I don't like taking medicine and I try to avoid it unless I am in serious pain.
We compromised and I got a low dose pain medication and also a muscle relaxer to take before bed. So far this dosage seems to be working well. I don't wake up hurting as bad as I was and I don't have nagging pain all day long.
I am going to continue to eat healthier and try to get more exercise and activities in now that I'm not in pain all the time.

I may look into that more. I did read a bit about it before, but didn't put into action. Some of it doesn't have any scienfic proof behind it so that is a bit skeptical. I also feel that everyone has different sensitivity levels so that could explain things too. It could help one, but not another.

This is the first time I've learned of a rheumatologist.

@Alexandoy What is due to lifestyle? Pain? Rheumatologists?

That is awesome that you lost weight! Go you! It is also good to hear that you were able to work something out with your meds so that you can feel less pain and not have to take too much medication.
