Do you watch cooking or baking show on the tv?

Hello fellow Mylotters! How´s your Sunday? I have just finished watching "Das Grosse Backen" (The Great Baking) on the tv. It has been a long time I have watched this show. It is a wonderful show where I can learn and have learned so much by watching how the contestants bake and decorate the cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Today, I was so touched when one of the contestants won the final contest for this year 2019. It was awesome. Last week, I have not baked a cake but I think this week I can, when my friend brings me her new harvested hazel nuts home. What do you think what fruit will taste good together with hazel nuts? Anyway, have a nice new week ahead. Thanks for reading. The photo is a chiffon chocolate cake I baked before. This photo was once posted on my blog.

I get ideas when I want to cook something only on YouTube. We don't do much baking in the house.

@thelme55 one cooking show and chef I loved to watch was Anthony Bordain cause he's very adventurous when it comes to food like me Too bad I didn't know he had problems. I also like Nigella Lawson but I watch and love her more than her cooking

I will sometimes watch baking shows but not very often. I do not do a lot of baking to be honest. Sorry, I'm not sure what would taste good with hazel nuts but I am sure someone will have a few good ideas.

I've just come back from a friend's house who had baked a very good plum cake with Streusel. We ate it with whipped cream. Ahh! She gave me two pieces when I went home to eat later. I prefer it this way and don't bake myself.

@thelme55 It is sooo good! Pity that the season for fresh plums is so short. And she told me that this year there are exceptionally few plums only.

Yes, I do watching Master Chef and I’m waiting for Season 11 if there is. About it, how about avocado?

That is good that you watch Master Chef. Is it a Filipino version @JustBhem? I don't know if avocado is good with hazelnut. Maybe I should try that. Thanks for the idea.

I don't know how hazelnuts would taste with a spice cake. How about a carrot cake? I used to watch cooking shows all the time. I do more MyLotting now.

I have baked cinnamon rolls yesterday. I prefer to watch cooking videos on YouTube. I have found a few great sources where people really know how to cook and how to teach.

I am the other way around @JudyEv. I love baking but I eat only a slice of the cake that I bake. I usually freeze some of the slices in case we have nothing to snack on here for the next days or weeks.

If I am at someones house and that is what they are watching then I will watch cooking shows but I really don't have any interest in them. Raspberries or strawberries may go good with hazlenuts but that's based on the spread
