Beautiful Day Today

We had a gorgeous day today (Tuesday) after a rainy day yesterday. The sun was out early and it warmed up to the high 70's. That's perfect weather in my book!
I took advantage of the nice weather and got a few things done outside. I had a red tipped photinia that I never planted, so I got that baby in the ground. It was good timing since we had rain yesterday. The hole was already dug thanks to my procrastination of getting it in the ground on another outing.
I cleaned water containers in the chicken coops and gave all fresh water. I wanted this done today since one news source says we will be in the 40's tonight and another saying 50's. I decided I wouldn't take a chance and get it done today.
I also got the clippers out and took care of some of the brush growing around my trees. I do this in the spring and again in the fall. I managed to get a good start on this and found that my muscles in my arms were aching as I headed back into the house.
If nothing else, I got in a good bit of exercise outdoors today. I'm heading into the kitchen now to get started on cooking something for dinner.

I don`t know the temp but the wind was up. I cooked outside on the gas grill eye and I had to prop a thin piece of plywood up to block it. The roast cooked in a couple hours, with a lid on.
I liked the temp, not hot or cold but Tony said it was cold.

mighty chilly morn here, winds calmed 'n the sun shone. warmed'p a bit, still chilly'n the shade. got lots tended, though 'tis ne'er 'nough. hope ya put'cha some epsoms salt packs'r magnesium oil'n those arms'n shoulders, hon. seems there's quite oft those lil muscles'n tendons that like to scream 'fter such.

I was okay. We are getting those kind of days now. Mid-day is THE time to be outdoors. Otherwise, you will be chilly. It is warming up right now with this front coming through but we have all day and all night rain starting sometime tonight. Fun...not! But at least it isn't freezing.

@crazyhorseladycx Rain all remained light to medium. Yay! Ended up turning into a tropical storm right off the coastline. It was very cloudy all afternoon here but only a fine mist fell. Hoping it clears up tomorrow and we get some sunshine!

@kareng glad to hear't, hon. yesterday wouldn't 've mattered much when ya went outdoors. 'twas jest a miserable day fer man'n beast.

I was in meetings most of the day on Tuesday, but it wasn't too bad, especially since it was storming all day. Today should be a really nice day for us.
