Busy Day!

I managed to get through a lot of notifications today. That was my plan for the lazy morning that did not happen. I still got a fair amount tackled.
We made our appointment in time for me to run by mom's pharmacy and for me to go do a house check on our home in Baton Rouge. We were still a few minutes early for our appointment and got to go right on in! The meeting went well and we should be proceeding with plans.
I picked up Chinese food for dinner and everyone enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed not cooking dinner because I was getting tired and everyone came home starving today.
I have been doing more notifications and have to say have most caught up. I've been working both sides; the old ones and the new ones. I feel better about them now and don't have a whole week's work of notifications sitting and waiting for me.
I'll be turning in early tonight (I think) so will catch up with everyone sometime tomorrow.

Chinese sounds good; and no clean-up sounds better.

I always enjoy eating out specifically for the benefit of not having to cook. If you've ever eaten my cooking, you would understand! haha

@kareng There's no denying I'm a bad cook! At least in the kitchen. Put me out in the woods with a campfire, and I will cook you a masterpiece. I have no idea why I can cook well over a campfire, but can't cook worth a damn in the kitchen.

I slept well until my hubby started trying to wake me up at 6 am with pouring rain to go grocery shopping. Around 7 I told him to leave me alone, that I was not going grocery shopping in pouring rain. I got up at 9 and hoping the rain has blown over.

@kareng Mine knows not to wake me. The dogs and cats even know not to wake me except in an emergency.
And in the rain would be even worse.

@wolfgirl569 I had mentioned last night that I wanted to get the grocery shopping done in the morning but I didn't mean before dawn. LOL. I will keep my mouth shut from now on.

@crazyhorseladycx That is true. Demand increases sales and that should lower the price. But the stores take advantage and raise the prices. And you know they get lower prices with bigger orders.

@kareng no ma'am, lackin' that danged tapioca flour. the price 'f such's tripled since my last purchase. there's perks to havin' so many folks goin' paleo, gluten free'n all that, more stores carry the raw goods needed. the con'd be they then feel 'tis 'lright to escalate the prices 'f such.

I haven't eaten Thai food since I was working. We had lots of international visitors when we were in our old building and got to know a few of them. We would do a departmental Thanksgiving dinner and I always enjoyed trying all the international dishes.
