Time to Get to Work

On a book. It's been a long day here, and I only have two hours until game time and want to get some work done before it starts. It's The Pack and Kansas City Chiefs tonight on Sunday Night Football.
We're 6-1 right now and hope to make it 7-1 by the end of the game.
If I can get two chapters worked on before game time, I'll be happy. I'm actually working on two books at once. No, I haven't lost my mind. Not yet at least. I can keep my characters straight too.
I'll also be working on my puzzle while watching the game.
How was your Sunday? Thanks for reading.

I am two meetings behind on the blog for the writing group. I am not always in a rush to do the blogs because a) does anyone really read them? and b) why am I the one saddled with all the work? I want to be working on my book too, not on writing group activities.
Since I was gone all day yesterday I am working on laundry today.

@just4him When my mother was ill I told the group that I had to spend time caring for my mother. One person said I shouldn't have to do everything myself, but no one volunteered to help me out of course. No one wants the job of running the group. I wasn't supposed to be running it but it has turned out that way. The woman who started it has been MIA since her husband passed away over a year ago. But with me running the group, I get all the credit. No one is complaining about late blogs. I got them done last night.

@patgalca It sounds like no one wants the responsibility so no one will complain about them being late. I'm glad you got them done. It's too bad all the responsibility is on your shoulders. I know when the person in charge of our group can't make the meeting, others step up and help.

@DianneN It was perfect. Someone at the pool a few days ago said that naps are good for you. They increase your life span and prevent heart attacks. I knew there was a reason I liked taking naps.
That's great you took Doodles for a walk.
Snow tonight.

That's one hell of a multi-tasking, pardon me for the expletive, waheehee. Doing the puzzle while watching the game huh. Your've got a big brain there.

Hope the game was a good one, and you got to work on your puzzle some during the game! Hopefully you were able to work on your book some before too!

We have a family Sunday watching the culminating activities of Bacolod Masskara festival. It's the first time that we watch together as a family this momentous tourism fun in the capital city.
