Dang Vampires, Don`t Even Have Good Aim

I got a call from the clinic and I assumed it was for my A1C results but it was to inform me they need more blood, and that my test came back messed up.
Now this worried the hell out of me because I cannot be sick and have to take care of sick, I looked up everything online and found a cause for this and that. IF that was the case with needing more blood to retest, I was not worried after I seen what could have causes one thing to be high.
I went in today and had to wait 2 hours to get my blood drawn, and I got the same male nurse! The stab me and hunt the vein nurse. After 2 tries I said no more and he got another nurse, she hit it the first time!! no pain and no bruise.
Anyways, I asked what my A1C numbers are and she told me she would try to find out. She came back and said " the blood they got last week was not usable to test for anything" She said she wished she had known she would have got a tube while she was in vein. I held up my hand and said that is alright.
Another reason to run like hell from this clinic! I mean, 3 tubes of blood ruined?!?! All that pain and bull for nothing!
Calling around town for a doctor tomorrow, I cannot deal with this unprofessional behavior any longer.

What ta heck is wrong with those stupid people! They stab you in the vein, then aren't able to check your blood? What kind of lab are they working for? It's bad enough that the male nurse prods and pokes to get your veins. I'm glad you're gonna find another lab!

@andriaperry And what seems strange, one technician takes my blood with ease. While others act like they're doing a surgical procedure and make me suffer!

That is not good at all and I sure hope you can find a much better clinic, I am watching my favorited series ER on DVD and if there were really such doctors I would send you straight to them. Meantime perhaps you already have this information but if not here is a link and perhaps it can help you save some time

That's too much. I remember when I got my blood test. The technologist accidentally got lose hold of the test tube and fell on the floor broken, the blood spilt. She got another blood from me. It didn't matter to me for it's neccessary but I have a phobia of blood.

That is such a shame that you had to go through all that. I sure hope you find another practice where they know what they're doing. I would ask lots of people who they recommend.

They always have trouble finding mine....last time I had a similar experience! Sorry the first tests were ruined and you had to get them redone!
