Today I had two dentist appointments. One at 2 pm; and one at 3 pm. When I left the house it was s**wing! That foul word again! As we drove closer to the lake, there was less and less s**w on the ground as the temperature got warmer and warmer. Eventually it turned to rain. The lake is still very warm.
I had my teeth cleaned; and then the next appointment was to redo an old filling. The dentist wants me to get two crowns; but I think he is just eager to make $$. I still have to deal with two loose front teeth that are loose because my jawbone is receding. Don't get old, even if you take care of your teeth, something will come up!
Have you been to the dentist recently? I go every 6 months.
P. S. I think I'm going to hibernate this winter until March or April.

Ouch, two appointments in one day? That sounds awful! But at least it is over for now. I should go, but haven't in a long time...can't afford to....plus I have a fear of going. My son is covered though, so we do take him every 6 months.

I had a fear for years and years. I'm finally getting over it. You really need to go, even if you have to make payments. Your teeth have to last you a lifetime!

@LindaOHio I would like to keep all my teeth as long as I can. My husband is already 74 and he has all his teeth, including the wisdom teeth, I miss two of my wisdom teeth.

@LindaOHio That is too bad, I use the half shell of one of them to open the others.

It wasn't bad. I got my teeth cleaned; and he only had to refill one tooth.

I go to the dentist every 6 months, like clockwork. Which reminds me, I do have an appointment coming up here soon. I need to look and see when it is!
Please send some of that foul white stuff down to Florida, would you?

It wasn't so bad. A cleaning; and then he redid one of my fillings.
