I'm pulling an 8 to 4 shift with the toddlers today. Should be fun. I haven't worked with that group in over a week. I'll do some MyLotting this evening. And maybe some more work on that book I'm trying to write. Maybe I'll post another chapter here and hope for some feedback. What does your day hold in store for you?

@TheHorse ah that depends. just like teaching I have to deal with many different learning styles. you learn to build it and be able to present it 4 different ways.

Fighting with the VA, physical therapy, fighting with the VA, getting my tooth checked, and did I mention fighting with the VA? I realized why they’re closed on Veterans Day....people are nice to veterans on Veterans Day, and the VA can’t have any of that! You have a great day, and be a bad influence: turn those kids on to some John Prine music.

@FourWalls Remember that I work with horses and young children and am VERY intuitive. You know what's funny? I think I DID quote John Prine with the little kids yesterday. Sometimes I entertain myself while I'm talking to them. I can't remember which line it was, though.

The thing is, I don't bring ANY technology up there. But I really should give in. Another part of me wants to disappear from my life here and rent an apartment in Paris for a month. There, I'd write, play guitar (I think even busking is still allowed there) and live my dream--if only for awhile.
