I found out what to give my daughters as early Christmas presents.

Usually I make jars of apricot jam for Christmas. I will make a couple of jars for each this year too, when the apricots are ripe.
But Claudia´s gift of the microwave oven gave me ideas for one extra gift for each girl. Claudia will have my kitchen gadget to make cheese grilled sandwich and Tania will have a wonderful pair of sandals that are a bit too small for me. But Tania tried them on and they were perfect. And I always buy very good shoes, so they will last her a lot.
So, this year, at my home, it´s beginning to look a lot like Christmas very early.

@marguicha my sister has a grilled cheese maker but I don’t care for it much when I tried it.

@shaggin Claudia likes it, but I prefer to make them in a skillet.

I gave Claudia once an old cast iron gadget to make grilled cheese sandwiches. Strong as it was, they broke a latch. Now I´m giving her an electric one. I preferred the cast iron one, but they are not easy to find. Now I make mine in a skillet.

Those are wonderful ideas and great that you already have two Christmas presents ready. Christmas still is a difficult time for me so not much will be going on here. They say that things and memories get easier with time but somehow and for some reason this year I don't even feel like putting up my little tree,

I have a tiny tree that Leticia gave me. I place it in the living room on a side table and surround it with the presents.

My youngest daughter needed the sandwich maker. She had one but quit working. And with that, the children can make their own grilled cheese sandwiches while she is taking a nap after work.

@LadyDuck It is an electric gadget where you place 2 slices of bread with something in between. They are very good to make cheese grilled sandwiches although you can also add tomato slices, arugula and other ingredients.

Gift giving during Christmas is something that we don't do in our family anymore. I guess it's because we give each other presents any time when we want to. Monday, I got my son a new pair of Adidas ultra boost that he likes. Last month I got my husband a charriol bracelet that surprised him. He's been wearing them every single day since. Then yesterday, I got him a new iPhone 11 Pro max.
I'm also getting a 24k gold charm attached to a leather bracelet for my son this weekend. But I'm not sure I'll be giving him presents for Christmas. But ohh, he asked for a MacBook Air.

I usually only buy a present for Sofía who is 9. The rest of the people receive homemade things I make.

Most of my gifts are homemade jams and preserves. But this Christmas I had something my girls wanted.

That takes care of those decisions.

They did. My eldest daughter is having money problems lately as her patients are not coming due to the protests in my country. So a beautiful and expensive pair of shoes is a good idea.
