Hello everyone on Mylot world! An hour ago, my hubby and I arrived home from the Netherlands. We had a wonderful weekend at my niece house.
We went to the Filipino Mass this morning and what a surprise, I have met the best friend of my childhood best friend in that Filipino Mass. We have known each other from our common best friend but we have not met before, until now in the church. We are already friends for a a few years through fb but not the chance to meet each other.
After the Mass, there was a Filipino lunch inside the room in the church building and we have eaten delicious Filipino food. My best friends friend and I are happy to meet each other. She already invited me to come to her place next time I visit my niece and her family.
After the church, my niece, her children and I went to Kinderdijk, a place where plenty of windmills are located. It was a wonderful place to see. I took a lot of photos but I have not taken a good video as my IPhone was fully charge. I have to go there next time. That is the photo above.
How was your weekend?

I am curious about those windmills. Are they the traditional windmills? If so, what are they for? We have windmills here that produces electricity, it is called a wind farm.

Yes, they are the traditional old style windmills @alexandoy. Here is a link for you to read

Isn't it nice that you met your friend? Amsterdam is well known for its windmills. We saw some similar ones in France too.
