Century Link will pay you $1,000 to watch Hallmark movies

If this is legitimate, I read on FB that the phone and internet provider Century Link will pay $1,000 to whomever they decide on to watch the Hallmark Christmas movies twice a day for 12 days.
I don't know about you, but there are somethings I just won't do for any amount of money.
I love Christmas, but those Hallmark movies are so PREDICTABLE. I can tell you before it happens who the girl will fall for. She's usually a poor, but very sweet girl. She has a struggling farm/shop/florist/career and runs into (usually literally) a handsome guy who's rich, but irritating in some way.
Of course they fall in love and live happily ever after.
Why can't for once she be a spoiled brat career woman and she really likes the arrogant rich guy? Then at the end, he runs off with the CEO of her company.
For a thousand bucks, I might watch it

I actually enjoy Hallmark movies for their safe predictability in a fantasyland escape. Most everything is predictable anyway. Christmas itself is boringly predictable.

Ha! One man's predictable is another man's tradition!

I have watched Hallmark movies and loved them. The cable I had had Hallmark and then it was gone. I have Netflix now and there have been some Hallmark programs on there. Are they legit?

Heck I would watch anything for 1,000 bucks. I assume you have to be a Century Link customer though.

I'm not sure if you have to be a Century Link customer or not. We are, but still I don't have time or inclination for it.

When the offer is too good to be true then most likely it is not true. That's my take.

I haven't researched it, but if it's legit, there probably won't be that many chosen to earn the $1,000.

Some of the Hallmark's are not bad if your in an escapism mood. But most are just too corny to watch. Hard to believe though that a company would pay you to watch them.

Maybe they're desperate for viewers!

I cannot stand to watch Hallmark movies to begin with. Christmas Hallmark movies are even more intolerable. I like your thinking. Make a disaster out of the woman's ending and maybe it might be worth watching. MAYBE. I am not sure I need $1000 that bad either way.

It would be tough to watch that many Hallmark movies. I might do it if I had Century Link though. That's a lot of dinners out and a chunk for savings.

We actually do have Century Link, but I couldn't watch two movies everyday right here at the holidays.

There's an application to apply, but yeah, it might not even be legit.
