You know what Danie loves the most? Going to the mall. Yesterday, we decided to bring Danie with us to one of the malls here. She was highly excited her heart was beating quite fast. When she heard the car engine starting, she whined at me wanting to go out of the house and into the car. She's that smart! So off we go to this particular mall and guess what? We were denied entry because they don't allow pets inside. Imagine, Danie's disappointment. I didn't for one second ever considered this mall doesn't allow pets because I saw a dog following its master in this mall a few years back without a leash. But of course we can't allow Danie not to have fun at all. We just went to another mall and there Danie enjoyed window shopping, played at the dog park, and a rest at Starbucks! Danie had a great Wednesday. How about you?

Poor Danie, I am glad you had another Mall where to bring her and have fun. Dogs are allowed in Malls here, they are not allowed in grocery stores where fresh food is served.

@LadyDuck here the rule is pretty simple. Have your dogs in diaper and on a leash or on a carrier.

@toniganzon The only rule in the malls is to keep the dogs on leash. You never know, an excited kid could cause a problem.

All malls here are pet friendly except for that one. Then good thing though his that we hardly go to that mall.

@shaggin We normally don't have service dogs here. Only foreign people who are on vacation here have service dogs. Danie even has a pet pass in one of the malls that require it. Others don't require a pet pass but your dog must be wearing a diaper, must be on a leash or a carrier.

All the malls here are pet friendly except for that one, that's why I was very surprised.

@rebelann We even have dog cafes here. And some of the pet grooming stations are inside the malls.

I don't know many malls that are pet friendly around here @toniganzon I think too many people here don't socialize their dogs properly.

There's only one mall here that doesn't allow pets inside and that surprised me. The guard told me that their permit to allow pets inside the mall hasn't been released so they really couldn't get Danie in. But I couldn't understand why because a few years back in that very mall, I saw a pet and its owner roaming inside.

@DianneN Right and no, it hasn't been taken over by a new owner. It's owned by a very prominent billionaire in this country. So not possible that there's a change of ownership. Same mall in a different area which his a bit far from our house allows pet that's why I don't know why that particular branch didn't.
