My Saturday evening dinner. What are you having for dinner tonight?

Last night, I got home from playing music with a friend. For dinner, I had a (blank...Senior Moment)...a tortilla wrapped in corn husk with pollo inside. It had been brought to the preschool for the teachers by one of the parents. I added a tomato I harvested from the garden at the preschool, some Wasabe from a previous Japanese dinner, some peppers from a previous Mexican lunch, some sour cream from Trader Joe's, and had a wonderful supper. What did you have for dinner last night?

Tortilla with pollo? Is that chicken like Pollo Loco?

@TheHorse Is pollo another name for the tortilla? I asked because there is a restaurant here named Pollo Loco and it is chicken that is their main dish.

@Alexandoy To me, pollo (I hope I am spelling it right) means "chicken" in Spanish. So Pollo Loco would mean "crazy chicken." We have those here in CA.

@TheHorse No kind of salad was involved, the Roquefort sauce is something you make in the pan using real Roquefort cheese and heavy dairy cream, it is served HOT on the steak. It's not a ready made fake Roquefort dressing.

@wolfgirl569 Oh, I'd have to add a bit of hot sauce, even if my tummy would suffer later.

@JohnRoberts I bought one of those pre-cooked chickens at Safeway this evening. I am just grazing now, and deciding whether to make some mashed potatoes.

@LindaOHio I sometimes grab whatever I see. The other day, I ate a leftover Halloween Snickers bar for afternoon snack.

I was a bit more "on the ball" as far as presentation goes than usual.

It was actually quite satisfying. Tonight, I think I'm going to watch an American football game and eat Japanese food.

The sour cream made the peppers "OK." I love yogurt chutney when I have Indian food.
