I finally went to the hospital.

Claudia took me and we spent 4 hours there. If those hospital beds weren´t so uncomfortable, I could have slept. Between each person who saw my toe and nail an hour went by. I should have listened to Humberto and Coral ( @TheSojourner ). I would have saved a lot of money. I don´t know why I was charged so munch. But at this time of the day, I did not have the capacity to understand anything. According to the doctor, I should go on Monday so that a nurse changes the dressing. The nurse gave me gauze and other materials so that I can do it myself at home. I´d call it a blah day. And I spent over what I spent on groceries in 2 weeks.

I am so sorry you had to wait so long at the hospital. I think that there is not a lot a doctor can do, only wrap the finger.

Sorry for the state of hospital you got in. Hospitals should be conducive to people with ailments. So, beds and other facilities must always be neat and clean and comfortable. Wish you feel better now.

There are some procedures that have to be done in hard and narrow beds. They are special for examination of the patient. Besides that, they were clean and neat.

@marguicha That is good. Hospitals must always be neat and clean. The laboratory or the Emergency Room and the surroundings must be kept sanitized at all times.

Sorry to hear that. Medical expenses can really be a big bomb on our pocket. I am not sure if that would be covered under any insurance.

I have rather inexpensive exams that are covered by my insurance. Apparently, this toe did not belong to my body.

I guess if it had been easier for me to reach my own feet, I would have decided to treat it myself. But not I don´t see well at my toes distance even with glasses.

Humberto is a doctor and he had already told me. And at the hospital they told me that should I feel it warm (infection) to come again. Only that, if that happens, I´ll tell Humberto to write down a prescription for antibiotics.
