Cardinals Might Be A Sign

You make up your own mind about things you read about. But I have always heard that seeing a cardinal (bird) could be a sign from a lost loved one. I choose to believe. I also am sharing another cardinal photo from my deck feeder. Sure they come for the food. But nothing wrong with believing they might be here for other reasons, if it gets you through the day. ***I know many of you do not believe and that is ok. When you lose your family, you look for something to hold on, to keep you going. That is what I have done. Here is one of many articles out there if you are interested in reading.
As most of you know, I developed a relationship of sorts with birds after the death of my mother a couple of years ago.  It’s a fine line to walk when you’re writing about birds you fee…

The only cardinals I have ever seen were a couple during my trip back east this year.

@CarolDM There are no cardinals in in SoCal. They are eastern birds.

It is nice to think of things in a certain way. Even if they are untrue, if it warms the heart, then why not? Cardinals are so common around here, I don't think I have that many lost loved ones.

I have to have something to believe in. I have many lost loved ones Jim and I choose to believe. Doesn't mean every cardinal you see is a loved one.

@CarolDM Exactly. Like I said, if it warms the heart, can it be bad even if it is not true?

Oh yes so they say Carol. I believe also. I had seen a video also one time of a lady who had a cardinal that would not get off of her shoulder as she had asked for a sign from her lost loved one.

@CarolDM Everyone believes they way they do. I pray to my G-d for the safety of my loved ones that I lost. That is how I deal with loss.

I never knew until you brought to my attention. Back home, my loved ones had a cardinal whir-li-gig in the yard that flapped it's wings in the wind. I never liked until now that you told me the meaning of cardinals!

Your beliefs are your own, nobody can interfere in that. If believing something helps you go ahead and do it don't bother what others think about it.

There is nothing wrong with believing and having hope. Choosing joy in any situation makes life so much better-no matter what brings that joy for us. =)

I am not sure I can discern one bird from another very well, but Cardinals are beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing your blog.

I would believe too. I hope others aren't giving you a hard time about this. People should just make up their own minds then keep their thoughts to themselves.

Just some on this site but I am over it, everyone has their right to choose. No worries. I should have kept this post to myself.

If it brings you comfort, there certainly isn't anything wrong with thinking that way. Hugs.
