I also am sharing another cardinal photo from my deck feeder. Sure they come for the food. But nothing wrong with believing they might be here for other reasons, if it gets you through the day.
***I know many of you do not believe and that is ok. When you lose your family, you look for something to hold on, to keep you going. That is what I have done.
Here is one of many articles out there if you are interested in reading.
As most of you know, I developed a relationship of sorts with birds after the death of my mother a couple of years ago. It’s a fine line to walk when you’re writing about birds you fee…

The only cardinals I have ever seen were a couple during my trip back east this year.

@CarolDM There are no cardinals in in SoCal. They are eastern birds.

Oh yes so they say Carol. I believe also. I had seen a video also one time of a lady who had a cardinal that would not get off of her shoulder as she had asked for a sign from her lost loved one.

I never knew until you brought to my attention. Back home, my loved ones had a cardinal whir-li-gig in the yard that flapped it's wings in the wind. I never liked until now that you told me the meaning of cardinals!

There is nothing wrong with believing and having hope. Choosing joy in any situation makes life so much better-no matter what brings that joy for us. =)

I am not sure I can discern one bird from another very well, but Cardinals are beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing your blog.

If it brings you comfort, there certainly isn't anything wrong with thinking that way. Hugs.

I like to believe that Cardinals are a sign. I rarely see them but are happy if one appears and makes my heart smile
