Meet Harvey the Opossum

OK so sue me I might have lost a few more screws but I have christened the opossum that comes at night Harvey. Isn’t he the cutest? Last night we had a little chat while he was enjoying some food. And you know what? When I called him by the name he did turn to look at me. Of course, I do realize I cannot adopt an opossum as a pet but I am enjoying the time he comes by.

He's a cute little guy. They are good for your yard. They eat bugs and all kinds of nasty things.

Opossums are docile, non-aggressive animals and will not attack your pets. They prefer to avoid confrontations. As you said they are wild animals who don't fare well in captivity. But it's nice to have a friend stop by and have a snack
