Friday the 13th

We haven't had one of these in quite a while. I am watchful on this day, ready to investigate something odd going on or read an interesting story. But afraid or fearful? No. I guess there is a phobia(paraskevidekatriaphobia) that afflicts about 20 million Americans. The Greek word Paraskevi means "Friday" and dekatreis, meaning "thirteen". Of course there are those with triskaidekaphobia which is the fear of the number 13 and hundreds of dollars are lost in business on this day because people are not going to fly or do business on this unlucky day.

No I am not. It's my lucky number and Friday is one of my best days of the week.

Don't believe that 13 is a unlucky number it's mith somewhere and today is 14 in my place
