Question for Today- Holiday Tipping / myLot

Do you have a list of people you tip or give something special to for the holidays? Of course, it depends on the different services one uses. For me, I do tip my hair stylist and mail carrier. I also give a monetary donation to the Salvation Army.

That's nice! Some other possible people/services who receive tips in the U.S. are: pet groomer or walker, Babysitter, trash collectors, housekeeper, teacher.

@dgobucks226 But I do wonder why some restaurants discourage that practice. Tipping is a customer's choice not a requirement.

well, instead of tipping, I choose to give some gifts. It is not that polite to tip some elders here when you are younger than them.

Oh, I see. Gifts are nice too. In the U.S. will tip pet groomer or walker, Paper delivery person, Babysitter, home contractors, trash collectors, housekeeper, teacher.

I tip my beautician. I give cards to the office and mail lady. I'll donate to the Salvation Army kettle.

We donate items to Goodwill during the year. Now that I have my little housekeeper, I gave her a Walmart gift card which she loved.

I always tip bartenders at our local hangout very well for Christmas. That's about it. I always tip my hair stylist, massage therapist, servers at restaurants, etc.
