What is a gift under $25.00 that you love receiving?

United States

Is there a gift that you receive, or wouldn't mind receiving that costs less than $25.00, and that you appreciate / would appreciate if you received it? I would have to say that I would never grow tried of receiving socks, slippers, or a blanket or nice pillow for around that price. A gift card wouldn't be remiss either of course. What item do you like to receive that costs less than $25.00? Is this an item you receive all the time, or one that is only for a special holiday?

@ScribbledAdNauseum Not really, I got lesser than that once but I would love to receive this exact amount if it's less than 25 USD

@excellence7 Ah, yes in cash I usually receive less, but when it's on a gift card I receive more.

I would love to have a Neutrogena body balsam for dry skin. It costs not much. I could have 3-4 pieces with that price you mentioned.

Neutrogena is such a good brand as well. I bet they have gift kits out as most beauty brands do that this time of year.

@thelme55 I do not do much in the way of make up, and I don't put any kind of cleanser on my skin. I wash it with some plain soap and water.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have thought about doing that many times, But I don't have a car and have limited times that I can drive, even if I could.

I've seen some gift baskets made from the dollar tree for very cheap. Branded items as well, even ghiradelli items. Imagine how much one would save on making a gift basket like that if they could get the supplies from dollar tree.

@dfollin I don't drive either, and we only go out to get food once a week. I do try to make it to dollar tree atleast twice a month though, even if I don't buy anything.

You can never have enough of those! Plus it frees you up to buy things you want, if people gift you clothes for holidays.

I appreciate ANY gift. I don't care what it is or what it costs. I just enjoy the thought that someone thought of me at all.

Yes, lots of things are too expensive now. It's hard to find things under $25.00 that also have a good quality.

I love the soft / fuzzy socks that are so prevalent this time of year. I got my friends a pair of socks with aloe in it, but there wasn't a 3rd pair for me :( Chocolate will never go remiss. I was just looking at the swiis colony website for chocolates.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You sure can’t go wrong with chocolate I love it all. Have you checked a bath and body works for the aloe socks I know they had them

@Tina30219 I haven't, but I am not sure if I would be willing to pay their prices. I feel like I could just get some aloe and then some socks and put them on my feet for cheaper.

That's a gift I am always weary of giving, mainly because people's idea of good smelling things differ.

@NJChicaa Clean cotton is one of my favorite scents, but I have found that some companies version of it isn't very nice.

During our Christmas party in the Foundation, I wanted to receive a pillow as I really like pillows. Then I receive another tumbler. And I like it.

Ah, tumblers seem to be a popular gift, I don't know why. I prefer to buy my own.

a travel sized sketchbook. I always try to keep one with me. it doesn't need to be fancy paper or leather bound or some other crazy ridiculousness. I can always appreciate a little sketchbook, they're usually $5-$10 depending on size and store you buy them from. candy (any food, really ), a warm blanket, or a candle are nice to get, too! the gift-in-a-jar idea might work for less than $25
• United States
20 Dec 19
I like all those things minus the sketchbook, I'd just say a journal since I like recording my favorite quotes. Candles are nice too and I wouldn't mind receiving them. Giving them is another thing entirely, I have a different favorite scent.

@isweartokira I realize that, and I wasn't trying to say your choice was bad. I guess I give people the wrong impression by comparing what they want / like to what i would get. I mean no harm in it.

I would love to get durable items that are unique and can also give a long-lasting memory from the givers. I really like a camera mug and a camera pencil/pen holder. Those are under $25. This camera mug is so elegant and it keeps drinks hot. A camera pencil/pen holder is also nice for me. I can organize my pens, pencils, other small utensils there and make my work space more tidy.

Those look really nice. Cameras / photography isn't my thing but I can definitely see where those would be neat gifts for those who love that stuff. I have to admit the camera mug looks very realistic.

19 Dec 19
@lovebuglena It really is, and it's high quality chocolate too. The best way to get a good deal with them is to go on there tour which is only $5.00. They give you like 10 or 20 percent off, and if you have a gift card for them then you can get out the door with more. I rarely go there because of it's cost and distance.

Ah yes, that would be a good treat. That reminds me, a chocolate company that usually sells their bars for about $12.00 per bar has a sale for five for $25.00 at the moment.
