for those of us who feel lukewarm about the holidays, perhaps instrumental christmas music would be a good compromise. so i'm sharing a link at the bottom of this post to kenny g's Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and O, Come All Ye Faithful played on the saxophone. the music video is less than 5 minutes. if you let it play softly in the background, maybe it will help tone things down while you're stuck in traffic, or forced to entertain people, or multitasking, or just trying to rest after all that. wikipedia says kenny g's real name is Kenneth Bruce Gorelick. he began playing the saxophone at age 10, then added the clarinet in high school. i think we in the philippines first got to know his music through the piece Silhouette back in 1988. hope you enjoy this christmas carols played on the saxophone. you can also type kenny g christmas albums on your search engine to see a picture of his albums with the titles and year released. have you heard of kenny g? do you like instrumental carols too?

This reminds me of the CD that was given to me by one famous composer here. It is an instrumental album with the guitar. I haven't played that for a long time.

@hereandthere it is Pablo Vergara who became my friend in his later years. He was a good guitarist. By the way, he was also a film director and had directed FPJ several times.

Like Trans Siberian Orchestra! I got my parents tickets to their Christmas Show once and they absolutely love it. I think Christmas is the only time I actually like only instrumental medic. I like Kenny G. He said he was once paid a million dollars to play Christmas songs to a guy's family at a hotel. I'll take that.

Wow, so beautiful rendition by sax. Kenny G. is one of my favorites during my younger years. And so are the others, like David Benoit.

Merry Christmas Ms. Everywhere! Sorry for the late greeting but I guess it's better than not greeting you at all, right? We've been quite busy and we went to a park on Christmas day to have a lunch picnic with the friends of my daughters. Hope you had a wonderful time on Christmas day too and Typhoon Ursula did not deter the happy celebration.

it rained last night but that's it. it's summer there so picnics would be perfect for the little one. have you started gathering stuff you'll be bringing home?

Yes - just a little something for my siblings, pamangkins, a few friends and some officers and personnel at the coop. My luggage will be heavy so I will leave some clothes and maybe a pair of shoes. We’ll just be home for a home for a month then come back for 3 months.

I have downloaded the Christmas songs that I like, I burnt a CD and we are going to play it while we eat. Are most instrumental, but "Adeste Fideles" (original Latin version of O Come, All Ye Faithful) is something that I love to hear sang by Andrea Bocelli.

I know Kenny G's music quite well. He has a very distinctive tone on the saxophone. Thanks for the link.
