Merry Christmas to one and all! Happy Holidays!
We have been away and the photo shows our home for the past three days. We decided a week before Christmas to spend it in a hotel near the malls. The first plan was to have a dinner buffet but instead we just have the breakfast buffet at the hotel and just spend the whole day together.
How and where did you celebrate your Christmas?

I spent Christmas at Disney World with my children. That's where we spend Christmas and New Years Eve at every year!

We sometimes do that weekend getaway in a hotel in the city but never for the holiday season.

That's so relaxing! Me, I get ready with my shopping all by bus so it's several trips back and forth sometimes to get what I need for the holidays. Then it's preparing foods on the eve. It's just me, for most of my family has gone to heaven and am an orphan. So we all decided not to get together for the holidays now and not celebrate it especially since my Mom the last of the family matriarchs left us. Now we cousins are on our own for the holidays. So I get myself little gifts and prepare something special for my holidays. Get all the traditional foods and drink. Got my sparkling apple cider to stand in place for champagne for New Years on sale, already.

I am sorry to hear that most of your family members are celebrating their Christmas at heaven now. I would not want to get together with them too, not this soon. haha. But I am glad you and your cousins will have your own celebration here on earth

Thanks! We just decided not to make ourselves merry, for our family is mostly gone...but life goes on. It's ok, and it's one of the sad things of growing old.
