Happy New Year, Fellow MyLotters!

It's after midnight on my end, so I just wanted to wish all of my fellow MyLotters a Happy New Year! :)
We watched Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve (w/ Ryan Seacrest), and there were several good musical performances, such as Paula Abdul, Green Day and Salt-n-Pepa. We didn't play any games or anything, but we did watch the ball drop together. :)
I also finished up a month-long project on Fiverr. I just need to proofread and submit it by this weekend. I'm glad to have ended 2019 on a productive note. :) After I finished those orders, I just killed time until it was time to countdown to midnight.
Sooo, it's been sort of a laid-back day, even with the writing orders, but that's fine. We never go out or have a ton of people over for New Year's Eve, and that's the way we like it.
Once again, Happy New Year to all of you! May 2020 be a great year to all of us! G'night, or good morning, and take care. :)

Happy New Year! Sounds like a good way to spend New Year's Eve, and a great way to start the new year. Here it is almost midnight; 30 minutes away......our town is going to drop a huge BEET (not real but made out of metal) that weighs 1600 pounds I think!

@tammys85 It was pretty cool, I saw a live video of the beet drop and the fireworks - I think around 2,000 people went up to the event in the freezing cold! That's great that you watch the ball drop, I am not sure I have ever seen that actually, even on TV lol. It was good here, hope yours was too!

@tammys85 I am glad too, maybe in the future we'll go if it is a warmer new year's eve (although here that is not likely lol).
Oh yeah I am sure that would be fun to go there when they were there. Yes, those things are probably all true....but the question is would it be worth all that to go there and see them? If you can see them on the TV through the show, that would be a good point that watching from your home is safer and warmer!
I think I have heard of that New Year's Eve show....not sure I ever actually watched though!

Oh it did. It wasn't a bad project, just tedious because it was one project split into two months, 10 orders on office stuff, 10 on NYC, 10 per month (5 each), so I'll be glad when it's submitted. I'm not trying to complain though, I'm grateful for the work.
Eating and watching the ball drop on TV was as exciting as it got for me lol. I've been working and watching NKOTB concerts today.

Thank you so much! I feel like I ended the year in a productive manner. Happy New Year! I worked today, but it's all shorter orders on Textbroker, and watched concerts of my favorite band on YouTube, so that was a good balance lol.
