New Years Day / myLot

On this New Years day, did you stay home or did you go out? We stayed home mostly. We have an older car we would like to sell but it wont start. My husband says the "starter" needs to be replaced. But, since we don't want to spend too much money on it by towing it to a mechanic and spending way too much, my husband ordered the part online and is certain he can put it in himself. If all works right like we are hoping, then we can sell the car without having had put so much money into it. It is a 2004 Saturn. We are hoping to get $1,500 to $2,000 dollars for it. Hopefully. After, he took the "starter" out of the car, we then went out for dinner. We went to the local Chinese Buffet in town which is always very filling and tasty.

No partying for me. I stayed home all day today, worked here. Look up "Kelly blue book " to see how much the car is worth. I bought a 2011 back in 2016 so it was only 5 years old for $2,800. Happy New Year!

I hope it works out he can replace the part so you guys can sell it. Usually we go to my parents for New Year’s Day but this year we didn’t. We just stayed home and didn’t do much. I think I rather enjoyed this years laid back New Years.

I wish I was at home on new years eve / day so that I could have done something with my daughter but I think I was where I was most needed. I was at my sisters and currently, am going on the 32nd hour straight that I've been here. Taking care of both her and my oldest nephew. But then again, I never really do anything for new years and haven't the last few years.

We went out to visit dad, it was a peaceful visit. Ordered groceries online. Practiced bass guitar. Ordered pizza for supper. :-) Your hubby is quite handy. I hope you get a good price for that car. Should sell well. Seems like that is a popular price range

My daughter has a 1996 Saturn. We bought it for her from her brother. Saturns are pretty good cars. My husband just recently did a little work on it, and we have to get a new battery. However, before these last little problems we had, it ran will. The dashboard is in bad shape, so we are trying to find some place who may have a used one to sell.
