I woke up this morning and stretched before throwing the covers off of me and jumping out of bed. I made my way to the bathroom and when I returned I walked to my clothes and began to put them on.
That is when I realized it.
My clothes were on the bed where I had left them, but the bed was not where I had left it. It was on the opposite wall, with the covers neatly pulled back over the pillows. I knew that was wrong, I hadn't made my bed. I turned my head towards the door and then back to the bed, but it wasn't where it had just been. It was back where it was when I woke up this morning.
What was going on? I decided to test it. I turned away from the bed and then back around to it. When I turned around, the bed was no longer there but was where I had just been looking.
That's when I really realized something. I wasn't in my house, but in another one altogether. Oh, I recognized this place alright. It had been my home for several years in my youth, but it's not a place I had stepped in for years.
Just, What was going on?
I decided to ask my family, but apparently I needed to cross an ocean to do that.
that is when I woke up.
Anyone else have some weird dreams lately?

Wow, I wonder did you family leave you behind or did you leave your family behind on the other side of the ocean?
I did have a dream not to long ago, I was going over paperwork on which horses I should bred together to try and get that special bred that is worth a lot of money....I woke up before I figured it out. So many odd things about that dream. I don't know that is how breeding works, I never bred horses before, I am actually a bit afraid of horses so I certainly wouldn't be involved in the breeding of them.
Not sure what that dream was trying to tell me.

I think the ocean was meant to be a separate type of thing. I never did cross the ocean, the dream ended with me on the beach.
That is quite a weird dream you had. To me it sounds more like you should be careful with investments. I think breeding the horses would symbolize / signify investing since breeding horses is an investment in and of itself.
Maybe I am looking too literal into it though. Maybe you have just been watching a lot of Mr. Ed lately...

@ScribbledAdNauseum Maybe your dream was telling you your to far from your family and should get back in contact with them or you need to be closer to them??
Yea, I kind of thought about the investments thing and that I should stick to something I know more about than take a chance with an investment I know nothing about? Since the dream didn't really end I wonder what the outcome would have been.

@Bensen32 Nah, I am near / close to the family that matters to me. In the dream, My friends were with me at the beach, I'm not sure what that meant. I was able to talk to my family at the end, but it was only for a moment before I Woke up. I barely remember that part of the dream.
I wonder if you will ever dream a continuation? Sometims that happens to me. It's usually the next night, but sometimes I'll dream a continuation a week later.

Yes, I have a vivid imagination, people here have told me I should contact a screen writer a time or two. I have forgotten most of my dreams of last night as well, if I am not actively thinking about it, I will forget.

@akalinus I used to write them down on a notepad in the computer. I need to do that again.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I often write down my dreams in a journal. I am surprised when I read it after a long time. I had forgotten about some of them but seeing the words brings the dream back.

I wake up like that sometimes, not remembering them but knowing they were really weird.

By that I meant if I could make furniture move simply by turning my back to it, I could offer my services.1 person likes this
