I met a monster!

It wasn't up a dark alleyway but it was scary anyway (well, kind of). This 'monster' was the fossil of a dinosaur - a diplodocus - which I came face-to-face with in the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery in Glasgow a while back. He (she?) was visiting there on a tour of the UK so my eldest son and I took the opportunity to go take a look. Even though it was a fossil a slight shiver went up my spine when I imagined what he had looked like when he was alive. Definitely not something you would want to meet up a dark alleyway!

I would rather meet the Joker in a dark alley after insulting him than meeting this dinosaur.

Yeah, not a kritter I'd want to meet anywhere. Makes me wonder how mankind survived those kritters

I just saw a documentary that found human remains from over a million years ago in an area in China. It was a fascinating documentary.

The size is impressive, I can barely imagine how it looked when it was alive.

Great shot! I wouldn’t want one to step on me, even though that’s a plant eater. My grandkids are fascinated by them.

I love dinosaurs. That is a plant eater so no worries of it eating you.

It wouldn't have to eat me - just stepping on me would be enough!

They're huge, aren't they? I might have had a shiver or two myself seeing this.
