Fog.

It really foggy out this morning. I think this is the fog that comes in from the East, over the Delta, not the more famous Bay Area fog that comes in over the Pacific Ocean. How's the weather where you are? Do you sometimes get dense fog? I have to drive through it in a few minutes to get to work. We'll see if traffic is a bit slower than usual.

We hardly ever have thick fog. I remember traveling along the west coast. The fog would follow us and engulf us. Be careful driving.

No fog here . . . just a bit chilly in the morning but fairly warm later on. In my childhood, there seemed to be more fog in our area of Southern CA - but not these days - although we did have some a few months back. Your area is known for that fog!

We get fog but nowhere as bad as yours sounds. I'd hate to drive through that. Today we woke up to cloudy skies. It's just rained and now it's overcast. A welcome relief from the stifling heat.

I once lived in San Francisco. I have seen ultra-thick, heavy fog. You could practically cut it with a knife. I remember a store selling cans of fog for tourists to bring or send to the loved ones back home. Stupidest thing I ever saw,

I would not have want to land an airplane this morning. But the traffic was fine (and at normal speed) on the freeways.

@TheHorse I'm glad it was. It would need to be an instrument landing. I wouldn't want to do it either. I remember when we flew out to Guam back in '76. San Fransisco was fogged in and they bused us to Oakland.

Some people don't slow down at all when there is a fog. I hate driving in heavy fog. Luckily we don't get too many.

We don't get fog in Bangalore. But I grew up in Delhi which is famous for fogs and restricted vision during winters.

Yes the. Fog in tulare county in the central valley of california is ridiculos as well. Its strange how its patchy one side of the town the fog is thick as mud and other parts of the town is all sunny. In tulare ca alot of crime goes on in the fog season.
