writing back to your responses or just starting a discussion and leave it?

i am really surprised at some people's behaviors here! i mean , i see some discussions without any response by the owner!
i mean many people care your discussion, give their time to you and try to help you and then the starter of the discussion never reads them and just leave it!
i am sorry but it is rude!
i dont say that they have to answer all but he/she can at least read some and answer back!
me personally i care all of my responses under my discussions!
i almost answer everyone, and i think it is very important!
how about you ? do you care your responses?

I always reply to anyone who has posted on my discussions because I am grateful they bothered to look at them. If you don't reply then sooner or later people will notice and they won't bother to respond. I also try to comment on one of their discussions too.

I am also grateful! They care us and give their time to us! Then we just leave it? Not kind! I think we should care people who gave us responses!

I respond to most comments on my discussions, but there are some that are so vague I ignore them.

I generally respond to most people who comment on my discussions. There are occasions when a response doesn't seem necessary but I'll at least 'like' the comment. If the comment is just one word then I might not respond to that.

@japanesesamurai Even if we have nothing more to say we can always like what the other person wrote.

When I was new here, I didn't care to respond. All I did was post a discussion and read (and comment) on discussions of other members. But someone pointed it out that I should check my notifications and that I should respond otherwise those people commenting on my discussions will not touch me anymore.

@japanesesamurai you are right that you have to monitor your own discussions for a possible reply to the comments.

it is super important here, even you start a discussion you should follow people who gave your responses.. its good that you changed your style :)

@japanesesamurai Exactly. I’m no longer responding to those who post one post after another and never return the favor.

I try to reply to all responses in my discussions. Sometimes though there really isn't anything I can say in response, so just hit "like" on that response. I don't want to say the same thing over and over again to many people either. So sometimes a "like" is best.

There are discussions that I have posted and did not know others responded till something appeared in my notifications then I would go through all and see who responded.

I always say, "I eventually get to them all." And pretty much that is the case. I DO eventually get to them all. May not be the same day. May not even be the same month. But I write the post more to have the discussion that FOLLOWS it, and so I want to get to as much of those as I can. I took the time to write it, people have taken the time to read it and comment on it, so I feel it is only appropriate that I take the time to acknowledge their responses.
