I got a robo call before bed

The school district has a calling system in place when everyone needs to be notified of something. It is an automated dialer with a recorded message.
Evidently we are starting two hours late today. No day off.
I got up at my regular time, because that is what works for me, and I looked outside.
There is no snow, but it is cold and there is ice on the roads. Likely to get worse.
I will have time to make some phone calls and do other things before work today, so that is a bonus in a way.
I have a cold and I am not happy about that.
Perhaps I will come back here before work today.

I would have walked to the bus and let that driver drive. Got another call and we are completely cancelled.
