Ironing is not my favourite chore

but I have to do it. I have just finished ironing mine and my hubbys clothes. I have done ironing for 2 hours. Well, my box for clothes ironing was full and so I had to iron them. I think I have not ironed our clothes for a month. My first time ironing clothes for this year.
Ironing is not my favourite household chore. Is it your favourite household chore? What chores do you love most? Anyway, now I am done and the box is empty again. Until next month[em]lol[/em

When I was a teenager we had to do the ironing of our own clothes. What I learned was the put the clothes in a hanger. Presto. No ironing needed, waheehee.

Some clothes I don't have to iron as they can be hang in the hanger and looks ironed afterwards. Clothes made of 100% cotton should be ironed. Thanks @Alexandoy.

@thelme55 I seldom iron my pants and just the formal clothes like long sleeves shirts are ironed.

I can't tell you the last time I ironed. I still have an iron but I took my ironing board to the thrift store three years ago. That's not the last time I ironed. It was sitting around for a very long time.
As for a favorite chore - I don't have one.

I don't iron many things nowadays but I try to do after every few laundry days. If they start to pile up, then I put off doing them and put it off again, etc, so it's best I do them more or less whenever necessary. I love the skirt. Do you know the name of the tartan?

i never liked hot chores like ironing and cooking.

We hang our clothes up from the dryer and don't have to iron. My day was OK. I spent the day catching up on Discussions and Notifications.

I have been working on crocheting, cleaning the house, etc for the last several days. I am going to enjoy myself this weekend before returning to work this Monday. (I simply hate ironing but I had to do it for one of my relatives for a long time, until he left us for another country years ago. Alleluia since!
